FLOOR ADHESIVES BY SIKA

Sika is a world leader in hardwood flooring adhesives and primers. We have used these products for many years and found them to be completely reliable.

The following is a list of the products we use and when we use them. If you’d like to learn more, we invite you to call us today or stop by the shop.

T2 ADHESIVE

600mm sausage adhesives. We use a Sika applicator gun to apply the adhesive to the back of the solid wood boards across the width of the board. We then lay the board in place and apply light pressure.

1 sausage will be enough for approximately 2m sq. of flooring. Used for solid flooring.
T52 ADHESIVE
600mm sausage adhesives. We use a Sika applicator gun to apply the adhesive to the back of the engineered wood boards across the width of the board. We then lay the board in place and apply light pressure.

1 sausage will be enough for approximately 2m sq. of flooring. Used for engineered flooring.
T54 ADHESIVE
13kg metal tubs of adhesive. We use this for a full bed adhesive with a notched trowel. It’s great for laying wood blocks or any parquet, batten, etc. It can also be used with underfloor heating to ensure complete contact with the sub-floor.
SIKA BULK GUN
For use with T2 and T52 sausages.
SIKA MB PRIMER
We always use this when sticking solid boards to a screed. Not only does it have damp proofing properties, but it also consolidates the top of the screed. One No 5kg set will cover approximately 10 m sq. When dry, it leaves a surface ready to stick flooring direct to the sub-floor with no need for battens. We also use this product with engineered boards if we have doubts about the moisture content of a screed.
